Jin-Wan Cho is currently department chair of Business Management at State University of New York (SUNY), Korea. He is professor in the area of Finance, specializing in capital markets, derivative securities and international finance. He also serves as President and CEO of Korea Institute of Finance Industry (KIFI), which he founded in 2014 in order to provide platforms to academicians to commercialize the outputs from their academic research. Jin-Wan Cho earned his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University in 1995 writing a thesis on capital market microstructure. He has been active in publishing academic papers in globally acknowledged academic journals such as Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Banking and Finance, Financial Analyst Journal, European Journal of Operations Research, handling various issues on derivative markets, stock markets, and international finance. He has been providing consultations to various government agencies both in and out of Korea on capital markets and asset management issues. He is currently serving as outside director for RG Asset Management Corp., and UBS Hana Asset Management Co.

Dr. Moon W. Suh has worked extensively for both US industry and academia before coming to SUNY Korea. Following his industrial career as a Senior Statistician & Operations Research Analyst at Burlington Industries, Prof. Suh joined North Carolina State University in 1987 and served three departments concurrently; Textile and Apparel Technology and Management, Statistics, and Operations Research. He is a Charles A. Cannon Professor Emeritus of Textile Technology and Management at College of Textiles at NC State, a Fellow of American Statistical Association, an Honorary Member of The Fiber Society (USA), a member of both The Korean Academy of Science and Technology and The National Academy of Engineering of Korea.
