About the Korean Cultural Institute (KCI)
Established in September 2012, the Korean Cultural Institute is an organization founded by the State University of New York, Korea for foreigners at the Incheon Global Campus (IGC).
Its purpose is to help foreigners adjust to life in Korea. KCI serves students, professors and faculty members from the four universities at the Incheon Global Campus.
"Happy School (HaengBok Hak-Kyo)” is a Korean language class also established in September 2012.
Happy Tour, which began in Chuseok 2012, is a trip to experience Korean culture. Thus far, over 300 foreign professors, faculty members and students have participated in this program. Most trips are at no cost. These trips provide an enjoyable and fruitful experience to help professors, faculty members and students who come to Korea experience the Korean way of life.
