New student Ambassador Was Appointed, 2018

SUNY Koreaㅣ2018-10-18 10:44

On October 5, 2018, the appointment ceremony for new student ambassadors of SUNY Korea was held. In 2018, the 2nd round of student ambassadors has 10 students, 6 female students and 4 male students, which includes international students Htet Zin Maung, Min Paing, Rediet Nagash and Annette Dean. The students who were selected as student ambassadors gathered in the president’s office to be awarded the certificate of appointment and took a photo with the president.

During the conversation with the president, Choon-ho Kim mentioned that it is an honor to have international students as our school ambassadors heightening the already growing diversity at SUNY Korea.

One of the student ambassadors, Hyobin Shin, who currently majors in MEC, feels proud to have an opportunity to share his life experiences at SUNY Korea with other potential students. Also, since he went through both the IEC (Intensive English Center) and MEC (Mechanical Engineering) programs, he is confident that his experience can help others to succeed as well.

Also, another student, Annette Dean from FIT, mentioned that through this activity, her sense of responsibility has increased. As the only representative of U.S., she cannot wait to share her unique story at FIT.

We hope this group of 2018 student ambassadors have a great opportunity to further progress at SUNY Korea.
