SUNY Korea FIT joins 2019 US College Fair for Visual & Performing Arts

SUNY Korea participated in the “2019 U.S. College Fair for Visual & Performing Arts” hosted by Education USA at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Seoul on Nov.16. The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) at SUNY Korea joined the seminar along with 15 other prestigious universities of visual and performing arts in the U.S. such as Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Full Sail University, and USC Thornton School of Music, among others. 


Special seminars were held under the themes “How to make a successful portfolio” and “Career path after graduation”, among others. Leonard Bess, chair of SUNY Korea FIT Fashion Design, and Sukyung Kang, a professor of Fashion Design at SUNY Korea FIT, joined the seminar  to conduct 1:1 counseling and portfolio reviews for students, parents, and general visitors interested in studying at an art college in the U.S. FIT admission staff offered advice on FIT’s admission processes and educational programs.


The fair offered a meaningful venue for SUNY Korea FIT to find new talents and raise global competitiveness through the recruitment of local and international students.
