Important Announcement: Online Lecture Through the End of SemesterSUNY Koreaㅣ2020-03-31 12:05
Message from the President’s Office
First of all, I would like to express my deep appreciation for your support and understanding on the COVID-19 related instructions given from the school throughout the past couple of months.
SUNY Korea has announced a series of measures to address the COVID-19 issue since its outbreak, including the introduction of online classes and the plan to switch to face to face classes from April 6. However, we have also made it very clear that we will not open the classes on campus if COVID-19 would not be subsided.
After considerable deliberation, with the recognition of the reality that the number of confirmed cases keeps increasing worldwide, including Korea and our neighboring areas in Incheon, SUNY Korea has decided to hold classes remotely through the end of the Spring 2020 semester. This is to eliminate the uncertainty for the remaining semester and to protect the safety of all SUNY Korea members. While classes continue online, we will make our best efforts to ensure the quality of education.
Accordingly, all students are required to move out of the residence halls by next Monday, April 6. However, those who are unable to return home due to unavoidable circumstances could stay, but they must communicate with the RC Team (firstname.lastname@example.org) and get approval. Procedures and details will be announced separately.
Please continue to monitor your emails for follow-ups. Once again, we appreciate your support and understanding.
President of SUNY Korea
