SUNY Korea Signs MOU with OnHappySUNY Koreaㅣ2020-05-27 09:36
SUNY Korea (President Wonki Min) signed an MOU agreement with OnHappy for mutual cooperation on Friday May 22, 2020.
OnHappy is an NGO that has special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Its main purpose is to establish various mutual cooperation systems with SUNY Korea.
On the day of the agreement, SBU delegates (President Wonki Min, Provost Arthur Lee, Vice President Jongsoo Kim, Vice President Mingu Han, Dean Jinsang Lee and others), OnHappy delegates (President Insik Bae, Senior Advisor Hanjun Park, Director Aekyung Bae and others) and the OnHappy advisory committee (Ilyoung Jung Jungho Seo and others) participated in the ceremony.
Major items of cooperation include i) joint projects and educational programs, ii) efficient facilitation of the programs with proper resources, and iii) internships for SBU and FIT students.
President Min said, “SUNY Korea strives to contribute to the global economy by cultivating global talents through our excellent curriculum. With the help of the Korean government and Incheon Metropolitan City, we have been highly successful. Our biggest concern is how we can contribute to the community. We hope that this MOU with OnHappy will serve as a solution for that concern and a foundation for more global contributions as well.”
