SUNY Korea leads the future of higher education

Classes moving to 100% online

SUNY Koreaㅣ2020-08-22 22:39

Dear Students and Faculty,

First of  all, we apologize for changing our plan yet again in such a short time.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare of Korea has raised the nationwide social distancing level today, enforcing stricter regulations on travel and gatherings. Given the heightened health concerns, the University has decided to move all of the classes to 100% online starting this coming Monday, August 24, and continue until October 8, 2020.  We will then reassess the situation and decide whether to continue 100% online or switch to a different plan.

Students: If you have any questions about any of your classes before the first class, please contact the instructor of the class.  Also, the Office of Student Affairs (student@sunykorea.ac.kr) will soon inform you of the IGC housing policy affected by this change such as move out dates and reimbursements which may be applicable for you. The Office of Academic Affairs (academicaffairs@sunykorea.ac.kr) will also send an announcement in time addressing issues such as work-study, library, labs, etc.

Faculty: If you need any help with online delivery of your class or have any questions, please feel free to contact the Office of Academic Affairs (academicaffairs@sunykorea.ac.kr). Please also share with the students in your class if there is anything that they need to know before the first class.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we try to overcome this crisis together.

Please stay safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

Arthur Lee

Provost
