Dear Students,

We would like to introduce you to the SUNY Korea Counseling Center. The Counseling Center offers many services, some of which you may be familiar with and some we would like to share with you.

Deeper Understanding of Self and Future

Visiting the Counseling Center is a great way to experience personal growth and learn more about yourself on a deeper level. Our Counselor would love to be a part of your journey toward greater self-awareness and understanding of self and others.

The Counseling Center also offers many tests that allow individuals to learn more about themselves as well as gain insight into possible career paths. Please see the attachment for a list of tests that are offered.

Problem Solving

Students commonly deal with stress and anxiety, or they may have a conflict with classmates, professors, families, or friends. The Counselor can help develop strategies or offer resources to overcome these problems in order to create a more positive university experience.

Mental Health

Taking care of our mental health is just as important as taking care of our physical health. Mental health connects to our emotional, physical, psychological, and social well-being. In the US alone, 1 in 5 adults deals with mental health problems, with depression being the most common. If you or anyone you know is struggling with their mental health, the Counseling Center can help.
