SUNY Korea’s COVID -19 Taskforce met on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, to review SUNY Korea's current status.

The Committee has decided on the following announcements.

  • 1. End the two weeks of temporary online classes
  • 2. Return to the original mode ( http://www.sunykorea.ac.kr/sk/announcement) of instructions, starting Monday, April 4
  • 3. Continue with online class mode for the larger classes that were being taught online. However, they can have in-person exams. Instructors of those classes will inform the students if any exams will be in person and will provide the necessary information promptly.
  • Please note that any infections should be reported to the instructors immediately with a proof of a positive test result (RAT or PCR) taken at a medical facility in order to be excused from in-person classes for seven days of the quarantine period. Instructors will accommodate infected students by providing all of the necessary information and resources.
  • Should you have any questions or comments, please email to covid19report@sunykorea.ac.kr and refer to the email, "RE: SUNY Korea returns to in-person classes", sent by Provost Hefazi.
