A total of 231 new students took part in this ceremony. Welcoming remarks and congratulatory speeches were given by SUNY Korea President Arthur H. President Lee welcomed students from 18 countries, including 3 new countries for SUNY Korea – Mauritius, Morocco, and Peru – and added: “Dream big enough to change the world and don’t be afraid of failure.” In addition, Professor Quan reminded the new students that FIT ranked first globally in 2023 amongst fashion schools, and encouraged students who entered this world-renowned program to be proud of themselves.
