IEC students need to complete Level 114, with a grade of B or better and satisfy all IEC program requirements. Students who pass the TOEFL (iBT 4.0), IELTS (6.5), or Duolingo English Test (105) while attending the IEC Program at any level, are still expected to achieve a minimum of B average in their current IEC course in order to be cleared for undergraduate admission.
Yes. SUNY Korea SBU Applicants who have achieved CSAT English Subject Rank 1 are eligible for an English proficiency requirement waiver. To be considered, you must submit your official CSAT Results in English as part of your application. Please note that the waiver eligibility is limited to applications for semesters within the same academic year. For example, a CSAT 2027 English Subject Rank 1 will be applicable for the English proficiency requirement waiver in applications for the Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 semesters.
