The 2023 Summer D.CAMPS English STEM Program is a one-week camp designed to foster a love for STEM subjects and provide creative learning experiences for students (K-6). Recognized as one of the best and largest English STEM camps in Korea by parents, teachers, and schools, this program aims to inspire young minds and nurture their interest in STEM and other creative activities.

  • Hiring Positions: SUMMER D.CAMPS Main & Assistant Teacher
  • Participants: Students (K-6)
  • Work Hours: Mon-Fri (8am - 4pm / lunch break 12pm-1pm, lunch included)
  • Camp Schedule:
    • Seoul National University: July 24 - July 28, 2023
    • Daewon International Middle School: July 31 - August 4, 2023 (+3 days for pre-meeting)
    • Optional: Probably at SNU (Siheung campus): July 18 - July 20, 2023
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or above (Preferred major: STEM/Education/Medical Science major)
    • English native speaker or fluent speaker
    • Proficiency in the Korean language is a plus
    • Passion for teaching and working with children
    • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Responsibilities:
    • Classroom teaching. 
    • Create friendly, fun, enjoyable environments where students enjoy learning with the STEM curriculum.
    • Prepare teaching materials daily and engage students in the classroom and outside.
    • Implement and run daily academic and STEM activities. 
    • Show and facilitate classroom management techniques.
    • Monitor students and provide reports and evaluations (Weekly & Daily) 
    • Provide assessments and evaluations.
    • Other duties will be required as needed.
  • Compensation:
    • Weekly Rate: 2 weeks ₩2,000,000, Total of 13 days (10 camp days & 3 days of training and orientation included)
    • Optional: Probably at SNU (Siheung  campus), 3 days ₩600,000
