Dear Students,

 

We are introducing a volunteer opportunity at the Asia Pacific Disaster Resilience Centre (APDRC) in Songdo, Incheon and Myeongdong, Seoul. Please see the information below and the attached file for more information.

 

  • Duty Title: Red Cross Innovator
  • Duration: March 15 - December 31, 2019 (9 months)*volunteering hours and days can be adjusted (flexible)
  • Duty Stations: Songdo, Incheon and Myeongdong, Seoul
  • Job Description:
  • - Supporting disaster resilience training (utilizing VR device, conducting Serious Game)
  • - Supporting international events/workshops/seminar
  • - Posting or uploading articles about Disaster Risk Reduction and Community Resilience on official SNS accounts and supporting the centre's website
  • Qualifications:
  • - Fluency in English and basic level Korean
  • - Basic computer skills and knowledge of Excel, PPT, and Word
  • - Aware of the Red Cross Movement and Humanitarian activities
  • - Research and analytical skills
  • Orientation Training Dates: March 15 - 16, 2019 (*MANDATORY)
