Our prominent guest speaker is the CEO at Global Standard Certification Co., Ltd. - a global leading certification/evaluation institution strengthening business strategies through auditing, certification, training, & inspection (https://www.gsckorea.co.kr). Ms. Jackie Jun is a certified CPA from the U.K. and has an extensive career within the finance & auditing field. She has worked for global ISO certification organizations such as SGS Korea Co., Ltd., STX Pan Ocean London Branch, and Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander Investment Banking in London. She graduated from Thames Valley University with a BA in Accounting and an MSc in Finance from Oxford Brookes University.
Jackie Jun will discuss her experiences as a former career seeker in the global job market (especially in the U.K.) and share her inspiring career journey as a Global Business Developer with expertise in Global Auditing. She will also provide perspectives and insights on the TIC business (Testing, Inspection, Certification) and describe how the Process Approach Method (one of the inspection methods) can be applied in our careers.
Currently, Global Standard Certification is looking to hire a staff member and Ms. Jun is open to interviewing and hiring ANY potential candidates that she may find during this Fall 2022 Career Talk to You #1 workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for students aspiring to secure employment as well as internships, especially for recent graduates and soon-to-be graduate students.
