Dear SUNY Korea Community,
We are grateful for all your support for the past year.
We are pleased to announce that the SUNY Korea Museum of Modern Costume is holding a SUNY Korea Family Sample Sale of the Designer Kim Dong Soon Ultimo and Johanex. This event is to raise the fund for FIT Scholarships.
Bazaar for the FIT scholarship fund
Designer Kim Dong Soon Ultimo is one of the top designers in Korea Fashion History.
She generously donated her fashion show samples from the 40 years of her collections to the SUNY Korea Museum, totaling up to approx. 2,000 looks and 4,000 pieces of garments.
Johanex, a mid-high range missy women's wear brand, of which VP is the President of the FIT Korean Alumni Association, also donated a number of their samples as well.
The museum is keeping some of the garments but has been selling the rest of the garments to create a FIT scholarship fund.
