Dear Students,

In partnership with the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA), SUNY Korea is recruiting three students to participate in the WFUNA Korean University Student Delegation to the United Nations Headquarters program.

Selected students will represent Korea and participate in the program at the UN Headquarters in New York from August 2 to August 8, 2026.

1. Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a Korean citizen
• Be an enrolled or currently on-leave student at our university (minimum 1 semester completed)
• Have an interest in international organizations and global engagement
• Be eligible to travel to the United States (no travel restrictions)
• Be able to present and participate in discussions in English

2. Program Schedule & Key Dates

• Application Deadline: Sunday, April 5, 2026
• Interviews for Shortlisted Candidates: April 8–9, 2026 (Wednesday–Thursday)
• Final Selection Announcement: Friday, April 10, 2026
• Program Fee Payment Deadline: Wednesday, April 22, 2026
• Mandatory Orientation & Pre-Training Sessions (in Seoul):
  - Session 1: Saturday, May 2, 2026 (10:00–13:00)
  - Session 2: Saturday, May 9, 2026 (10:00–13:00)
  - Session 3: Saturday, May 23, 2026 (10:00–13:00)
• Team Projects & Presentation Preparation: May–August 2026
• UN Headquarters Visit and Final Presentations: August 3 (Mon) – August 7 (Fri), 2026

**Arrival in New York: Sunday, August 2, 2026 / Departure from New York: Saturday, August 8, 2026

3. Required Documents

• Completed Application Form (attached)
• Free-form Self-Introduction in English
• Copy of official English test scores and relevant certificates (optional)

4. Program Cost (Participant Responsibility)

• KRW 2,700,000 (includes 6 nights of accommodation near the UN Headquarters)
• Not included: airfare, ESTA, travel insurance, personal expenses and meals
• University Support: KRW 500,000 per selected student
