[Call for Applications] 2026–2027 American Diplomacy House (ADH) Academy (Apply by May 31)

We are excited to share a global leadership and public diplomacy program from the U.S. Embassy Seoul, the organization behind the American Diplomacy House (ADH) Academy.

The ADH Academy is a 10-month leadership development program designed for university students who are interested in public diplomacy, international relations, and global leadership. Through this program, participants will have the opportunity to explore various fields of public diplomacy, engage in team-based projects, and gain hands-on experience in an international and collaborative environment.

The program is hosted at the American Diplomacy House within the U.S. Embassy Seoul, with additional participation opportunities available through American Corners located in Busan, Gwangju, Pyeongtaek, and Gangneung.

 

 

Program Period

  • September 2026 – June 2027

 

Key Activities

  • Participation in exclusive diplomacy-related programs for academy members
  • Lectures by U.S. diplomats and leaders from various professional fields
  • Diplomacy Simulation programs focused on current international issues
  • Mentorship opportunities with U.S. diplomats
  • Digital communication projects, including team-based diplomacy storytelling and video production

Eligibility

  • University students interested in international relations and public diplomacy
  • Applicants who are able to communicate in English

* Students may apply through the first semester of their senior year as of the second half of 2026. Students on a leave of absence are also eligible to apply if they meet this requirement.

Recruitment Schedule

  • May 31: Application Deadline
  • Early July: Announcement of document screening results (selected applicants will be contacted individually for interviews)
  • July: Interview Period
  • Early August: Final Announcement of Selected Participants
  • September: Orientation and official program launch (mandatory attendance required)
