[Call for Applications] Incheon Youth Talent Dispatch Program to Overseas Diplomatic Missions

We are pleased to introduce the Incheon Youth Talent Dispatch Program to Overseas Diplomatic Missions, organized by the Incheon Metropolitan City.
This program aims to support international exchange initiatives and provide students with valuable overseas work experience, while strengthening their global competencies.

Selected participants will have the opportunity to be dispatched to overseas diplomatic missions for approximately six months (June/July – December 2026), gaining hands-on experience in international environments.

 

Program Overview

  • Application Deadline (CDC Internal): April 1, 2026
  • Dispatch Period: Approximately 6 months (June/July – December 2026)

Required Documents (Mandatory)

  1. Copy of ID and Resident Registration (Detailed) Certificate
  2. Official language test score report (TOEIC 700+ or equivalent / second language B1 level or above)
    (Scores must be valid within 2 years)
  3. Certificate of enrollment/leave of absence/graduation from an Incheon-based university
  4. Official transcript (minimum GPA equivalent to 80/100)
  5. Research proposal (choose one topic):
    • Local economic development (export promotion, market expansion)
    • Urban regeneration (population decline response, etc.)
    • ODA (Official Development Assistance) by local governments
  6. Application form and personal statement
  7. Certificate of participation in the Incheon International Organization Career Experience Program

 

Optional Documents (if applicable)

  • Proof of internship experience at international organizations or public institutions
  • Additional foreign language certifications (more than one language)
  • Computer proficiency certification (Level 2 or above)
  • Other relevant supporting documents

 

Important Notes

  • Final selection will be made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; recommendation does not guarantee selection.
  • Assigned country may differ from your preference.
  • Available diplomatic missions are listed in the attached document.
  • Please ensure your availability for the entire dispatch period (June–December 2026) before applying.
  • Any additional expenses beyond the provided support must be covered by the participant.

 

Students who wish to be recommended by SUNY Korea CDC must submit all required documents to careercenter@sunykorea.ac.kr by April 1, 2026.
