Eligibility 

• Team consisting of three undergraduate or graduate students
• Must be enrolled or on leave of absence as of Spring 2025 (Graduate students may apply up to their 4th semester in integrated Master’s/PhD programs) 

Competition Format

[Simulated Investment]

• Participants will create an investment portfolio using major domestic and international assets and manage them over a period of 3 months
• Each team (3 members) will be provided with 1 domestic and 1 international investment account 
• The team leader will manage the portfolio setup and the combined NAV (Net Asset Value) of both accounts will be used to calculate team performance

[Presentation and Debate]

• The top 30 teams will be decided depending on the return and 6 outstanding teams will be selected based on performance, investment philosophy, and reports.
• Final award recipients will be determined after evaluating the presentation and among the 6 selected teams 

* Investment rules will follow DB Securities’ sound investment principles

* All management (portfolio setup, modification, return tracking, etc.) will be handled by DB securities 

* Detailed information will be provided during the information session

Awards

Grand Prize (one team): KRW 5,000,000

Excellence Award (one team):  KRW 3,000,000

Merit Award (four teams): KRW 2,000,000

Honorable Mention (twenty four teams): KRW 500,000

※ Application Screening Benefits for DB Securities: Granted to the Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and Merit Award teams (six teams)

• Application Submission: Monday, May 12, 2025 to Friday, June 6, 2025
• Pre-briefing Session: Mid-June 2025 (Time/Location TBD)
• Investment Plan Submission: Monday, June 9, 2025 to Monday, June 30, 2025
• Portfolio Operation Period: Tuesday, July 1, 2025.to Tuesday, September 30, 2025 (three months)
• Orientation for Debate Round: Friday, October 24, 2025
• Final Debate and Awards Ceremony: Friday, October 31, 2025
• CES Tour (6 nights 8 days): Early January 2026
