Oceanspeople is currently recruiting university student mentors for the 2026 Summer PrimeCamp, a 3-week overseas internship and English program held in Malaysia and Singapore. This program offers a valuable opportunity for university students to support younger participants in an international environment while gaining hands-on experience in student mentoring, program operations, leadership, and cross-cultural communication.
About Oceanspeople
Founded in 2017, Oceanspeople specializes in content production and educational services. Through its educational program, PrimeCamp, the organization has consistently operated overseas English and internship programs during summer and winter breaks, helping students develop global competencies and gain meaningful international experience.
Program Overview
Period: July 26, 2026 – August 15, 2026 (3 weeks)
Location: International schools in Singapore and Malaysia
Position: Operations Mentor
Number of Openings: Approximately 15 positions
Students to Supervise: Students from Grade 3 in elementary school to Grade 3 in middle school
Main Responsibilities
Managing dormitory life, including attendance checks and daily student guidance
Assisting with group programs such as swimming classes, sports activities, and special sessions
Helping students build positive relationships and adjust smoothly to camp life
Taking photos of student activities and writing daily logs
Supporting overall camp operations and student safety throughout the program
Eligibility
Current students or graduates of the university
Strong sense of teamwork and responsibility
Friendly, energetic, and interested in working with children
No disqualifications for overseas travel
Preference will be given to applicants who can communicate in English
Preference will be given to those with experience in education or youth-related activities
Chinese language ability is a plus
Requirements
Attendance at 3 pre-service training sessions is mandatory
(1 online training session, 2 in-person training sessions)
Applicants with a criminal record, smoking or drinking habits, or excessive tattoos are not eligible.
Staff must remain on campus during personal time.
Neat and professional attire is required.
