The University of Utah Asia Campus Career & Internship Development Center invites you to take part of the Incheon Cruise Buddy Volunteer event hosted by Incheon Port Authority and Kim’s M&T. This experience offers an exciting opportunity to join as a Cruise Buddy Volunteer - assisting luxury cruise passengers from the Celebrity Cruise Line (Royal Caribbean) right here at Incheon Port. Whether you're interested in hospitality, international engagement, or event operations, this is your chance to get involved, grow your experience & network, and receive compensation!
Some of the roles & responsibilities will include checking in passengers, guiding passengers to certain areas, assisting with logistics operations, sharing information about Korea, & much more. Through this event, you will be receiving compensation (KRW 120,000), an official certificate of work and lunch provided by the hosts on that day.
The actual work day is Saturday, June 7, all day and there is a mandatory Orientation & Training session that will be held on Thursday, June 5, from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM with dinner provided. Attendance at the orientation is mandatory. Participants who do not attend will not be eligible to take part in the volunteer activity.
If you plan to proceed with this participation, please make sure to fill out the necessary information so we can submit to the hosts as they prepare to contact you and also have your information for your official certificate of participation when this event is over. The final day to register for this volunteer opportunity & OT will be Thursday, May 15, at noon. Once you register, we will send more detailed information regarding the Orientation.
