IGC Cross-Registration Guide

IGC Cross-registration allows SUNY Korea students to take courses offered by other universities within the Incheon Global Campus (IGC). 

 

Fall 2026 Cross-Registration Period

  • Utah: ~July 31, 2026
  • ​​George Mason: ~July 31, 2026
  • Ghent: ~August 21, 2026

How to Apply

  1. Review the course list, syllabus, and course equivalency on the website.
  2. Contact your department coordinator to check course availability and schedule an appointment if necessary.
  3. Complete the attached Cross-Registration Application Form and submit it to your department for signature.
  4. Submit the signed application form and required documents through the google form
  5. [Utah Only] In addition to the Cross-Registration Application Form, students must complete the admission application through the Utah portal by selecting "Freshman." You can find the detailed instructions from here. After completing the admission application, take a screenshot of the application submission page and submit it to your department coordinator along with the other required documents.
  6. Please note that each university requires additional documents in addition to the application form. Please refer to the table below for the required documents by institution.

Important Notes

  1. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credits (full-time) at SUNY Korea.
  2. Only one cross-registration course is allowed per student.
  3.  An official transcript from the host university is required after course completion for credit transfer. 
  4. No additional tuition fee is charged for IGC cross-registration.
  5. Please have the official transcript sent to academic.sbu@sunykorea.ac.kr upon completion of the course.
