[Call for Applications] Fall 2026 IGC Job School: Corporate Valuation (Apply by September 18)

We are excited to invite you to the Fall 2026 IGC Job School: Corporate Valuation, a four-session practitioner course designed for IGC students with a basic understanding of financial management and accounting principles.

 

Led by Tae-yong Kim, Partner at KPMG Samjong with 15+ years of experience in Deal Advisory and Corporate Valuation, the program provides practical exposure to corporate valuation and financial advisory.

 

Session Overview

Session 1 | Financial Advisory Services & Valuation Introduction

  • Friday, October 16 | 1:00–3:00 PM | Textile Center Building, Samsung Station
  • Explore accounting firms, the Big 4, Financial Advisory Services (FAS) career paths, and key valuation methods

Session 2 | Valuation Theory & Practice

  • Friday, October 23 | 1:00–3:00 PM | Textile Center Building, Samsung Station
  • Learn Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and market-multiple valuation through theory and hands-on application

Session 3 | Private Equity & Real-World Application

  • Friday, October 30 | 1:00–3:00 PM | Near Samsung Station (Venue TBA)
  • Explore private equity, work through a live valuation example, and practical deal cases

Session 4 | Team Presentations & Wrap-Up

  • Friday, November 13 | 1:00–3:00 PM | University of Utah Asia Campus, Room U104
  • Present your team valuation project, receive individual practitioner feedback, and participate in an open Q&A

What You’ll Gain
