Tenure-Track or Teaching Faculty Position in the Department of Technology and Society at SUNY Korea
The Department of Technology and Society at SUNY Korea invites applications for tenure-track and/or teaching assistant/associate professor positions to start in Spring 2027 or Fall 2026 in areas of Technology Management, more specifically,
• AI ethics: The fairness, accountability, and transparency of AI systems.
• Bias and fairness in AI: How AI technologies can perpetuate or mitigate bias and inequality
• AI policy and governance: How policy frameworks can guide the responsible development and deployment of AI
• Human-centered AI: How AI can be ethically designed to serve and benefit all communities.

(a) Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor Position:
Successful candidates must have earned a Ph.D. degree, preferably from a US institution, in Technology Management or a closely related field. We seek candidates with the potential to develop significant and internationally recognized research programs and actively contribute to the department's core teaching missions.
Fluency in English is required, and some experience in higher education in the USA, such as teaching, research, or other academic-related work in an American university, is highly desirable. The successful candidate will serve the university and the community with leadership and dedication.
(b) Teaching Assistant/Associate Professor Position:
An excellent full-time teaching faculty member is sought. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree, preferably from a US institution, in Technology Management or a closely related field and exhibit a strong commitment to teaching. Engaging in research is encouraged but not mandatory.
