Teaching Faculty Positions in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at SUNY Korea

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at SUNY Korea invites applications for teaching faculty positions in core areas of electrical and computer engineering. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, semiconductors and integrated circuits, artificial intelligence and machine learning, computer architecture and embedded systems, signal processing and communications, and control and automation.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related field, preferably from a U.S. institution, and demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education. Experience in U.S. higher education, particularly teaching at an American university, is highly desirable.

Degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering at SUNY Korea are awarded by Stony Brook University (SBU), part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. Positions are available at the Teaching Assistant Professor, Teaching Associate Professor, and Teaching Professor levels. We seek candidates who can demonstrate teaching excellence and contribute actively to the department’s teaching mission. Successful candidates are also expected to contribute to the university and the broader community through service and leadership.
