Multiple Tenure-Track Faculty Positions in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SUNY Korea, Stony Brook University
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the State University of New York, Korea (SUNY Korea) invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, with an anticipated start date of Fall 2026, in the following area:
All areas of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics, including robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and bio-inspired engineering
SUNY Korea is the global campus of SUNY, offering degree programs from Stony Brook University (SBU) as well as from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). SUNY Korea is located within the Incheon Global Campus in Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) in Songdo, which is shared with several leading international universities.

Job Description
The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate- and graduate-level courses, develop an externally funded and internationally recognized research program, supervise graduate students, and actively participate in departmental, campus, and university service activities at SUNY Korea.
Qualifications
Applicants are expected to possess:
A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field (degree completed by the start date), preferably from a U.S.-based institution
Fluency in spoken and written English
A strong record of, or clear potential for, excellence in teaching, research, and scholarly activity
