Tenure-Track and Tenured Faculty Positions in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at SUNY Korea
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at SUNY Korea invites applications for tenure-track and tenured faculty positions in core areas of electrical and computer engineering. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, semiconductors and integrated circuits, artificial intelligence and machine learning, computer architecture and embedded systems, signal processing and communications, and control and automation.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related field, preferably from a U.S. institution, and demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education. Experience in U.S. higher education, such as teaching or research at an American university, is highly desirable.

Degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering at SUNY Korea are awarded by Stony Brook University (SBU), part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. Positions are available at the Assistant Professor and Associate Professor levels. We seek candidates with the potential to develop strong, internationally recognized research programs and to contribute actively to the department’s teaching mission. Successful candidates are also expected to contribute to the university and the broader community through service and leadership.
